Financial Hynotherapy - You & Money
The Brain/Mind
Looking at how our brain/minds work, we spend most of our waking hours in the fast "Beta" brainwave state. In this state, our brains are working fast, focused on the things before us, but also easily distracted by the world around us. The Beta state corresponds to our thinking conscious mind and is where our logical decision-making takes place. But as can be seen in the chart below, there are also deeper levels of brain/mind activity. The Alpha and Theta states correspond to the sub-conscious mind and Delta corresponds to the unconscious.
We may think we make decisions about important life matters from a logical perspective, but the sub-conscious and unconscious parts of who we are have an enormous role in forming our beliefs and behaviours... especially around money. When we are children our Theta and Delta mind states are wide open, helping us to learn, play and explore the world. But, as we grow, these states become locked away, and with it, the influences and envirnonmental learning of our youth. We may get glimpses of our deeper selves in our dreams and memories and creative inspirations, but for the most part, the Theta and Delta states are difficult to consciously access.
Through the tools of hypnotherapy and self-enquiry, participants are guided into these deeper mind states allowing for the exploration and release of old behaviours and patterns around money and other life issues. Accessing the Theta and Delta states also unleashes huge creative potential to create and shape your life in the direction you want to take.
Beliefs Around Money
We can hold many beliefs around money, some true, others that just don't serve us. Here are some "money beliefs" that you can enquire into and ask yourself:
. Money is hard to come by
. Why don't I ever have enough
. I'm not good with money
. I spend too much and have nothing to show for it
. I've missed the boat
. I hate looking at my bank account
. There is never enough
. I have to struggle financially
You may relate to one or more of these. The important thing is to ask the questions... what do I believe about money, how does it make me feel, who am I in relation to money?
